Michael Sokolov, ETH
Born is Moscow, grown up in Germany. Graduated from Technical University of Munich in chemical engineering (M. Sc.). Since 2014: Research and Teaching Assistant at ETH Zurich. PhD thesis: Development of data- and knowledge-driven tools to accelerate pharmaceutical process development. Docent in Numerical and Statistical Methods for chemical engineers.
The presented work is based on several successful collaboration projects of ETH with industry. In several case studies, the beneficial role of multivariate modelling tools for efficient bioprocess development is shown. Those tools are implemented throughout the entire cycle of process development from screening, through process prediction and monitoring to scale-up.
