Statistica Quality Control Charts (QRK)

The aim of this product course is to familiarize students with the tools of the Statistica data analysis package offered in the Quality Control Charts and Multivariate QRK modules. The participants should get an overview of the most important processes of these modules and control the result output with the corresponding dialog interfaces.

Target group:
This course is aimed at quality assurance specialists in industrial companies who wish to monitor continuous production processes using Statistica software.

Course contents:
This course covers the various control charts offered in Statistica from Pareto diagrams to multivariate hotel T² maps and the technical possibilities for using the analytical options for efficient process monitoring. The topics:

  • Measuring and counting test according to Shewhart
  • Intervention limits, warning limits and specification limits
  • Statistical early warning systems (run tests)
  • Online control charts
  • Short-run cards for batches (batch production)
  • Asymmetrically distributed features
  • Cards with memory
  • Multivariate quality control charts

The training consists of a short explanation of the mentioned procedures and the independent induction of the training participants within the scope of exercises. Examples in our standard courses are generally understandable data sets from different application areas.

This course requires program knowledge from the course Statistica Introduction (STE). In order to fully benefit from the training, participants should be familiar with the graphical user interface of the Windows operating system.

Supplementary courses:
The course Fundamentals of Process Statistics (PST) is suitable as a supplementary method course, Statistica Process and Measurement Equipment Analysis (SPC) and Statistica Enterprise Manager (ENT) as supplementary product courses.
