Consolidation of server and computing landscapes is an important task for the IT departments of our customers. Server are not supposed to reside under someone’s desk anymore but should be located in professionally managed and protected computing centers. To assist with this task, we conducted an Alteryx Server training at a leading company in the animal health industry.
The participants were a mixed group of IT-professionals and users of Alteryx, located all over the globe. To enable the participation from different time zones, the training was held in English and conducted in short sessions, to make attendance possible for everyone.
In the training the participants were introduced to the basic concepts of the server and were familiarized with installation and configuration. With the use of evaluation licenses the participants were enabled to install on their own and get first-hand installation experience. Further focus was given to the possibility to set up secure workspaces. These collections make it possible to work on content together in a group and then share it with others in a versioned and curated form.
After the training our trainer was honored to receive positive feedback from the participants especially regarding the content and duration of the training, the easy installation of Alteryx Server and the rich documentation.
