As part of our strategic management process, the full StatSoft team got together in hot and sunny Hamburg for our quarterly meeting in June. These quarterlies are an established practice for us to reflect and discuss the things we did and experienced, align about the interpretation and plan for the things to come.
We were again supported by our facilitator Jörg Jelden and this time focused on becoming and staying efficient by looking at the Effectuation concept by Saras D. Sarasvathy and by diving into the progress of our different verticals.
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
In this vertical we focussed on our Stability Analysis solution which is an enterprise-grade platform that enables different stakeholders to participate in and from the analysis process. The platform handles data ingestion, the analytical processes, reporting and distribution of results, all while staying secure and easy to use.
Hightech Manufacturing
For hightech manufacturing, especially semi-conductor manufacturing, our team is looking into the processes of our customers predominantly analyzing error patterns in wafers and how to solve these with a lower barrier of entry and with a strong emphasis on ease of use and automation.
Energy and Infrastructure
In the infrastructure vertical we serve customers with solutions that enable geo-spatial insights and the visualization of assets according to their physical locations. These solutions give a big-picture view of the grid and allow for drill-down and identification of individual households. Our roadmap focusses on improvements to be more performant and implement the most requested features while staying cost efficient.

We had a blast – not only because we brought the team together (and enjoyed a delightful team event and dinner later that evening) - but also because sharing our progress and planning collectively, made us feel that we are on an excellent trajectory.
