In this article, we want to shed light on an important part of StatSoft’s corporate culture: our key team events.
At StatSoft, we bring together people who contribute tremendous expertise and motivation. As a team, we solve challenges for and together with our customers.
Our hybrid work model combining flexible home office with an office space centrally located in the betahaus in Hamburg’s Schanze district and the international locations of our customers mean that we aren’t able to meet personally each workday. That’s why we truly value our regular in-person meetings, where we come together to further develop StatSoft and simply talk directly - about current challenges or personal experiences - how things feel in the moment.
In our Monthlies, we meet once a month in our office for a joint breakfast followed by an all-hands meeting, where the whole team exchanges updates on the company’s latest developments.
In our Quarterlies, we meet once per quarter at changing event locations to sharpen our strategy and align and coordinate our operational focus. We usually set aside half a day for this, work together with Agile Coach/ Facilitator Jörg Jelden from Komfortzonen, to discuss and create ideas uninterrupted by day-to-day business.
In summer and winter, we gather for a summer party or a cozy Christmas celebration to set the tone for the second half of the year or the end of the year. We usually do something together during these events: we cook, explore the Alster with SUPs, escape from escape rooms, or explore the neighborhood.
We complement these gatherings with a series of more frequent online events, in which we exchange updates on what’s happening in the company each week or share knowledge within the team.
