This is Dr. Anja I. S. Moldenhauer’s answer to the question about the things she appreciates at StatSoft. We are very happy about this compliment - and about how you enrich our team!
Anja is a Senior Data Scientist and has been with StatSoft since 2017. A mathematician by training, she is also privately involved with scientific topics. Isn’t it great to have a colleague who doesn’t have a question mark over terms like ‘Nielsen Methods’ and ‘Hyperbolic Groups’? We think so!
What does Anja particularly like about her work?
“I like meeting lots of new people, understanding their problems and helping them individually with our expertise, creativity and products. My work is never boring because I have contacts to different industries and thus gain various exciting and challenging insights. I enjoy developing solutions that add value to our clients.”
And what things are important to her besides work?
“I write technical books with my PhD supervisor and other mathematicians. In 2021, our group theory book (‘Topics in Infinite Group Theory’) was published, and this year we are working on the second edition of one of our first books. I also love photography, sewing for my son and exploring the world with him.”
